INFORMATION

We believe that the programs for all children should:

Parents and Guardians are welcome visitors at the centre at all times. At Little Heroes we have an open door policy, which means you are welcome at the centre at any time. You are most welcome to spend time in your child’s room with them, just let the centre staff know.

We do recommend you visit the centre a few times with your child before starting them (refer to settling in). Please share all relevant information about your child with staff, as this enables them to provide high-quality care to your child.

We appreciate that your time is precious but we encourage you to become involved in any way that suits you best. There are many different ways you can become involved:

  • Joining the parent advisory committee (for more information see accreditation)
  • Spending time in the centre with your child
  • Adding to your child’s journal
  • Adding ideas to the program
  • Reviewing policies
  • Input into the centre philosophy
  • Sharing your skills
  • Helping with excursions
